And suddenly… it’s almost DEMO DAY!

By Lily

We don’t know how the summer sped by so fast – but suddenly Demo Day is almost upon us and our ten teams are pitch perfect for Thursday’s big event.

Demo Day is a chance for our teams to show off what they’ve done and to get people involved in their projects either as investors, users, constructive critics or fanatic fans. It’s a chance for everyone else to come and see what has been going on in the Ada Lovelace space all summer and get excited and inspired. We still have a few tickets left – so if you would like to come along – hear some brilliant pitches and help us devour 15 metres of pizza, sign up here!

You will be hearing from…

  • Benkyo Player – video learning made easy.
  • Celsius – saving lives in the emergency services.
  • Commonplace – generating truly user-centred neighbourhoods and cities.
  • Fluency – equipping young people with digital skills.
  • Open Utility – building a peer to peer energy marketplace.
  • Playlab London – building Flowy: a mobile game to help people manage the effects of panic attacks.
  • See What I Mean – a communication tool for people with dementia.
  • Savvify – helping mums get tech savvy.
  • Trackwall – educational and immersive games for school children.
  • Write LaTeX – powerful tools to help scientist collaborate.
We will also be getting a sneak preview of the new Fairphone (BGV 2012 alumni) –  who’ve sold over 15,000 phones to date!
