Applications for our autumn programme are now open

Thinking of applying? Sign up to BGV Q&A events

Last week we opened applications for our 13th accelerator programme. So once again we’re on the lookout for talented startups with great ideas for using technology for good – but we’re doing something a bit different this time.

For our autumn 2018 programme we are exclusively looking for teams that are using technology in one of the three following impact areas:

We’re focusing on these three themes to reflect the three exciting partnerships we have running at the moment.

  1. Achieving the Global Goals for international development with angel investors Andy Wales and Ed Gillespie
  2. Supporting vulnerable young people with The Children’s Society, and
  3. Building a future of fair work and employment (WorkerTech) with Resolution Trust.

Startups who are accepted onto our autumn accelerator will receive all the usual BGV benefits, funding and support, as well as additional advice and connections from our expert programme partners.

If your startup fits into these themes and you’re thinking of applying then we recommend you come along to one of our Q&A events in June. If your venture doesn’t fit with these themes, don’t worry, applications for our general tech for good accelerator will open at the end of this year.

Our Q&A events will give you the chance to meet our team, talk to some of our partners and alumni and find out more about the investment and support available from BGV.

June 19th, 18:30 – Q&A: Achieving the Global Goals – Register here

June 25th, 18:30 – Q&A: Supporting vulnerable young people – Register here

Please only sign up to the Q&A event if your startup fits into the corresponding impact theme area. If you can’t make these dates then drop us an email at hello@bethnalgreenventures.com to arrange another time to talk or sign up to our Friday morning drop-in sessions.

Apply here for our autumn programme by 23.59 on Sunday 8th July.
