Apply to BGV’s Autumn 2019 programme for Tech for Good founders

By Dama Sathianathan

It’s that time of year, where we’re open for applications for our Autumn 2019 programme! If current news cycles are anything to go by, then we’re definitely at a pivotal time where we need tech for good solutions that radically improve people’s lives and protect our planet.

We’re in the midst of our Spring 2019 programme with eight tech for good ventures and we’re now on the hunt for our next batch of tech for good founders to join our active community of founders, investors, mentors and field-builders.

What we offer in a nutshell

Our Autumn 2019 intensive support programme kicks off in September with three months of tailored workshops, mentoring and one-to-one support to help you launch and scale your business. Afterwards you’ll continue to receive non-financial support from BGV, as well as opportunities for follow-on funding.

For more information head over to our apply page and find out more about our criteria and apply.

Meet our team to discuss your tech for good business

We’re acutely aware that the VC industry and UK tech sector has a problem with reaching and funding people from all walks of life. The latest diversity report from the British Business Bank, BVCA and Diversity VC clearly shows that a significant amount of dealflow happens through warm introductions, which puts founders without links to investors at a significant disadvantage.

At BGV we pride ourselves to championing diversity and are actively looking to talk to founders that have a strong ambition to scale and positively impact millions of lives and deliver great returns for investors regardless of their backgrounds. That’s why we run our drop-in sessions all-year round to provide anyone who fits our investment criteria with the opportunity to be able to meet us and understand what we’re offering. You can express your interest through the form on the apply page and we’ll get back to you with a few options if you fit our criteria.

Our team will also be speaking and attending a lot of events over the next month, so make sure to sign up to our newsletter and follow us on Twitter, where we’ll share where we’ll be and connect.
