Apply now for Facebook LDN_LAB Deep Tech for Good

We’re excited to announce that we’re supporting Facebook to design and deliver the second LDN_LAB programme to help deep tech startups that are using pioneering technologies to create positive impact.

LDN_LAB is a 12 week programme for startups based in Facebook’s London office in Rathbone Square. Startups will be connected to Facebook’s in-house mentors and participate in weekly training sessions across product, marketing and technology, to name a few. They will also get mentorship and support from Bethnal Green Ventures and other top professionals in our networks, and desk space at the vibrant LDN_LAB co-working space.

This is the second chapter of the LDN_LAB programme. BGV helped to design and deliver the first chapter of LDN_LAB earlier this year which focused on building communities, and really proved the value of Facebook’s mentorship and support.

Chapter two is all about using deep technologies, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented reality, virtual reality or voice recognition, to have a transformative impact on the world and create positive social change.

This partnership is a unique opportunity to combine BGV’s knowledge in supporting tech for good ventures, with Facebook’s expertise across product, marketing and technology. We’re excited to see Facebook commit time, talent and resources to the tech for good movement in London.

We’re looking for seed-stage startups, who

  • Have a skilled team in place with a social mission
  • Use pioneering technology, with evidence of product market fit
  • Show significant progress in growth and revenue
  • Have a runway for the next 12 months, and a plan to execute
