Autumn 2017

Meet our cohort

In September 2017 we kicked off our 11th accelerator welcoming nine teams into our fold.

We selected the nine teams from over 150 applications and are excited to see where these nine teams are headed.

Ally is a chatbot providing individuals in precarious housing situations with the information and tools they need to escape the cycle of homelessness.

Labour Xchange
Labour Xchange is a recruitment platform that matches workers and employers (mostly SMEs) on an hour by hour basis.

LettUs Grow
LettUs Grow uses innovative aeroponic technology to reduce food waste and help grow the freshest food possible.

Mind Moose is a fun, digital platform that teaches children how to keep their minds healthy.

ReactPolls aim to use tech to transform how we measure public opinion.

Remarkable Lives
Remarkable Lives is a social network centred on individuals who are getting older, helping to change society’s perceptions of later life.

RightsDD is a due diligence and assessment tool to help companies assess and manage human rights’ risks.

Salve is a mobile app which supports patients through the treatment journey with personalised treatment information synced to their clinic’s Electronic Health Record.

Tell Jo is a digital assessment of a customer’s level of vulnerability and financial capability.

This round of the accelerator features teams, who have been selected to work with our partners Resolution Trust to promote tech that boosts low wage workers (namely Labour XChange) and Children’s Society supporting vulnerable young people (Ally and MindMoose).

Want to see what these teams have achieved throughout our accelerator? Then come to our Demo Day on 29 November, hear their pitches and be inspired.
