BGV's Tech for Good SEIS & EIS Fund 5

We’re very pleased to announce that BGV’s Tech For Good SEIS & EIS Fund 5 is now open for applications for investment from professional investors. 

This is our fifth fund for high net worth and sophisticated individual investors to access a diversified portfolio of BGV-backed companies. The fund has 100% focus on companies developing technology to have a positive impact on society or the environment.

Investors in the fund can benefit from SEIS (Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme) and EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme) tax reliefs. These schemes have been further improved for the 2023/24 tax year. Amongst other benefits, SEIS tax relief offers a 50% income tax reduction on the amount invested in qualifying companies, but now up to a maximum of £200,000 per investor. EIS tax relief offers 30% income tax relief on investments up to £1 million.
