How it started
Chatterbox was founded in 2016 by Mursal Hedayat MBE, an Afghan refugee, and was later joined by co-founder and Y Combinator alumna Guillemette Dejean. Chatterbox joined our Autumn 2016 cohort, receiving investment from BGV at programme and pre-seed stage. “BGV's advice and support has been invaluable.” says Mursal, Chatterbox CEO.
How it's going
Chatterbox is now working with global companies such as Unilever, FTI Consulting, and BNP Paribas. Through the power of language learning, they help their customers improve cross-regional collaboration, inclusion and cultural intelligence. In 2021 the team raised a £1.5M pre-seed round. They’ve won numerous awards and have featured in the likes of the BBC, The Economist and The Times.
